What is Golfers Elbow?

Golfers elbow is a condition which causes pain around the inside of the elbow. It is also called medial epicondylitis.

Golfers elbow is caused by overusing the muscles of the forearm. This causes the tendons to become Inflamed and painful ðŸ˜£

Symptoms include:

🔥Pain around the inside of the elbow, running down the inside of the forearm.
🔥Pain when lifting, gripping objects.
🔥Pain when touching/catching/banging the inside of your elbow.
🔥Pain and weakness when twisting E.g. opening door handle or a jar.

Golfers elbow symptoms can be extremely painful and life changing, causing some people to give up their jobs.

However golfers elbow is treatable through Physiotherapy and exercises.

Oh and you don’t have to play golf to develop golfers elbow ðŸ¤£!
